An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead and expand a new branch specializing in hydraulic and automation components and systems.
Our client is a leading provider of hoses, fittings, instrumentation, and much more, serving a wide range of industries. They are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead their new Tualatin branch. This position calls for an individual with a strong background in industrial products and sales, ready to spearhead the growth of the company’s brand in the local area.
Industrial Supply Branch Manager Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team including an outside sales representative, an assistant branch manager, and inside/counter salespeople.
- Engage with a diverse customer base ranging from OEMs in various industries to purchasing agents, engineers, and end users.
- Utilize a deep understanding of the products to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Drive the branch’s revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Manage the branch’s profit and loss to maximize profitability.
- Ensure the highest level of service and technical knowledge is provided to customers.
Qualifications
- A relational sales style with a strong mechanical orientation and familiarity with hydraulic and automation components.
- Demonstrated success in supervising a sales team and managing P&L responsibilities.
- Proven ability to grow personnel, revenue, and branch operations.
- Self-motivated with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
