[HVAC] Outside Sales Representative | $80K-$120K OTE
Location: Tacoma, WA
Our client’s company, a leader in the commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commercial HVAC Sales Representative to join their expanding team. This role is centered around identifying and pursuing new business opportunities beyond the established customer base. The primary territory for this position is the Tacoma area, with occasional travel to locations such as Bremerton.
As a Commercial HVAC Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of expanding our client’s reach into various sectors, including hospitals, YMCAs, veterinary clinics, assisted living facilities, apartment complexes, and schools. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in refrigeration and medical facility projects, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience. This role involves proactive outreach and relationship-building, allowing you to make a significant impact on the company’s growth and success.
HVAC Outside Sales Job Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in diverse sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
- Engage with prospects in hospitals, YMCAs, veterinary clinics, assisted living facilities, apartment complexes, schools, and more.
- Explore opportunities in refrigeration and medical facility projects.
- Travel within the Tacoma area, with occasional trips to other locations such as Bremerton.
- Contribute to the company’s growth by expanding the customer base and increasing market reach.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC sales.
- Experience in construction services and retrofits (training on the commercial side can be provided).
- A positive and upbeat personality, especially during leadership transitions.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to sales.
