The Senior Account Manager will play a critical role in managing customer communications, handling sales and service calls, and overseeing projects from inception to completion. This position requires a proactive and independent approach to business development, utilizing networking, trade shows, and referrals to generate new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing estimates and proposals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales to exceed company goals.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to assess their needs and provide effective HVAC solutions.
- Handle new sales, manage warranty issues, and conduct service meetings and calls.
- Oversee new and ongoing projects, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Proactively build and maintain strong customer relationships, anticipating future needs.
- Generate new business through networking, trade shows, referrals, and other methods.
- Prepare detailed estimates and proposals, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction from order to delivery and commissioning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management, preferably within the HVAC industry.
- Strong sales skills with a demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals.
- Ability to work independently in Bend, Oregon, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on detail and quality.
