Field Service Technician | $30-$45/hr DOE

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and professional service. This position requires a deep understanding of heavy equipment mechanics, particularly diesel engines and hydraulics, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Field Service Technician Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy and compact equipment such as excavators, dozers, and wheel loaders.
- Perform scheduled maintenance work based on customer needs and requirements.
- Respond to customer service requests promptly and professionally, meeting or exceeding departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with the service team to provide high-quality solutions and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of service work, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely, adhering to company standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience as a “Yellow Iron” mechanic, with expertise in heavy and compact equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
- Proven troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation of service work.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
