[Fasteners] Outside Sales Representative | $150K+ OTE
Location: Kent, WA
Our client, a growing company in the fasteners and hardware industry, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their team. This role involves a balanced combination of hunting for new business opportunities and managing existing accounts, making it ideal for a self-starter with a strong personality and excellent communication skills. As the company is expanding and launching its e-commerce business, this position offers a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting growth phase.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who presents well, has a genuine approach to customer service, and demonstrates honesty in their interactions. If you don’t know the answer to a customer’s question, it’s important to admit it, but also show the initiative to find out and follow up promptly. Experience in industrial sales is highly valued, and specific experience with fasteners and hardware would be a significant advantage.
Industrial Outside Sales Job Responsibilities
- Actively seek out and develop new business opportunities in the fasteners and hardware sector.
- Manage and nurture relationships with current accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Present products and services effectively to potential clients.
- Respond to customer inquiries with honesty and a commitment to follow through on finding answers.
- Stay informed about industry trends and the company’s expanding product lines, including the upcoming e-commerce launch.
- Travel as required to meet with clients and prospects, supported by a gas card and company-provided cellphone.
