Civil Transportation Engineer
Compensation: $120K-$180K DOE
Location: Tacoma, WA
Our client is a leading company specializing in Design, Construction/Project Management, and Engineering for Civil Construction infrastructure builds and improvements. Their projects span across Public Water works, wastewater tunnels, light rail, aviation, roads, bridges, etc. They are currently seeking a dedicated professional to manage the Quality Assurance of their projects and contribute to the company’s commitment to excellence.
Civil Transportation Engineer Job Responsibilities
- Managing the Quality Assurance of projects.
- Conducting audits and creating reports.
- Working with architects and making recommendations.
- Providing Q.A./technical oversight of Civil systems engineering designs, systems integration, and construction.
- Monitoring and reviewing the work of consultants & contractors on project to verify compliance of inspection, testing of integrated programs, and reviewal oversight from concept through close out of project.
- Leading Quality Assurance assessments of design, construction, and submittal reviews.
- Leading the development of quality plans, analysis, reports, manuals and training.
- Preparing reports, assessments, and review comments of all designated team members.
Qualifications
- Established experience with leading engineering team on transportation, rail, and or infrastructure projects.
- P.E. Certification.
- Strong knowledge/background in Civil Engineering regulatory compliance.
