CDL Driver | $35-$38/hr DOE
Location: Arlington, WA
Our client’s company specializes in providing building materials such as lumber, millwork, doors, trusses, windows, and kits to customers. They are currently seeking a CDL Driver to join their team.
As a CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting and delivering various products, materials, and supplies to customer locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
CDL Driver Job Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver a range of materials including lumber, trusses, and house kits to customer locations
- Operate over-26,001-lb vehicle and hold crane and boom operator certification
- Calculate weight, height, and load distribution for safe transportation
- Plan delivery routes and inspect load paperwork for accuracy
- Ensure all safety points are checked before delivery
- Handle delivery-related paperwork such as logs, mileage, and reports
- Utilize customer service skills to address and resolve any customer issues
- All deliveries are local, allowing you to be home every night
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license and crane/boom certification
- Strong customer service abilities
- Attention to compliance, safety, and adherence to policies and processes
