[Building Materials] Siding Outside Sales Representative | $100K OTE
Location: Redmond, WA
Our client, a roofing, siding, and windows supplier and installer, is seeking a Siding Outside Sales Representative to join their team.
As a Siding Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in estimating material and labor costs for residential projects, creating accurate bids, and establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
Siding Outside Sales Job Responsibilities
- Accurately estimate material and labor costs for residential projects using software and industry knowledge
- Manipulate data from software to create accurate bids
- Establish and maintain customer relationships
- Communicate with customers to determine specifications for each individual project as well as outlining the scope of work before and during the estimate/project process
- Price work based upon labor calculations and pricing received from suppliers
- Organize documents and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all details are correctly included on bids
- Take accurate measurements
- Problem solve with the customers
Qualifications
- Background in both outside sales and building materials
- Specific siding experience in the residential market is beneficial, but sales experience in building materials in general will also be considered
- Experience in estimating and working out labor and materials is a huge plus
- Strong hunter mentality, as this role will eventually transition to a 100% commission-based compensation structure
