[Building Materials] Estimator | $60K-$80K DOE

Our client is a well-established business specializing in fencing, decks, and siding. They have built their reputation on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, serving both residential and commercial clients.
The company is currently looking to hire an Estimator for fencing and decking projects. This role is not only crucial for providing accurate project costs but is also a vital part of the company’s expansion plans into the commercial sector. You will be given leads, but you’re also expected to contribute to business development efforts.
Estimator Job Responsibilities
- Drive to various job sites to assess the scope and requirements of fencing and decking projects
- Conduct accurate measurements and layout planning for project estimates
- Perform site surveys to ensure proper installation and project execution
- Generate detailed and accurate job estimates, taking into account materials, labor, and other variables
- Contribute to business development efforts to help the company expand into the commercial realm
- Maintain meticulous records for all estimated and ongoing projects
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure a seamless transition from estimation to project initiation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction; specific experience in fencing and decking is a strong advantage
- A book of business in the commercial sector is highly desirable
- Proficient in project estimation and cost analysis
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for frequent site visits
