Architectural Plan Coordinator
Compensation: $70K-$96K OTE
Location: Kirkland, WA

They are currently seeking an Architectural Plan Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This is a hands-on role that plays a critical part in developing and refining residential home designs. Collaborating with senior management, architects, engineers, and various departments, you’ll have a direct impact on the company’s regional growth while ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
This is not an administrative role—it’s a design-focused position where you’ll actively create, revise, and improve standard home plans. The position also involves on-site engagement to ensure changes are accurately implemented, as well as performing in-depth reviews of plans for structural integrity, code compliance, and value engineering.

Architectural Plan Coordinator Job Responsibilities
- Draft and revise residential home plans based on senior management directives.
- Coordinate changes with purchasing, marketing, sales, operations, and construction teams.
- Engage with job site workers to ensure proper implementation of design updates.
- Review plans for code compliance and structural integrity.
- Perform value engineering for framing, foundations, and roof trusses.
- Draft design alterations to optimize lot fit and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Solid knowledge of residential construction, including floor framing, trusses, studs, foundations, and other structural elements.
- Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.
- A stable and reliable work history.
- Profile 1: Recent graduate with a degree in construction and strong AutoCAD skills.
- Profile 2: Experienced drafter with expertise in AutoCAD and residential construction.
