Account Manager | $100K-$140K + Bonus
Location: Milwaukee, OR
Our client, a leader in HVAC mechanicals, controls, and boiler sales, upgrades, and service, is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Account Manager to join their team. This role is crucial for managing new and established accounts, handling service calls, and overseeing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and the ability to effectively communicate, sell, and solve customer problems.
Account Manager Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for any new or established account, service call, or project.
- Communicate with customers to assess and determine their needs related to energy management, HVAC, or similar systems.
- Handle new sales, warranty issues, ongoing service meetings and calls, product financing, and contracts.
- Proactively initiate actions to establish and build relationships, anticipate customer needs, and prepare and monitor new and ongoing project solutions.
- Generate new business through networking, trade shows, referrals, and other business development methods.
- Prepare estimates/proposals and oversee the job, following up to ensure satisfaction from order through delivery and commissioning.
- Travel throughout Oregon and Washington as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in HVAC; experience can be in sales, project management, estimating, or technical roles.
- Strong industry knowledge and the ability to intelligently discuss, sell, and solve customer problems.
- Excellent communication, math, computer, and reasoning abilities.
- Proven track record of generating new business and building strong customer relationships.
- Ability to travel throughout Oregon and Washington.
