Insurance Account Executive

Compensation: $75K-$90K DOE + incentives
Location:   Scottsdale, AZ

Our client is a full-service employee benefits general agency supporting brokers and employer groups across the Pacific Northwest. They offer a comprehensive suite of products and services — including group medical, level-funded and ASO plans, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, virtual care, executive benefits, MEC/MVP programs, and identity protection — alongside end-to-end operational support covering quoting, renewals, case installation, carrier coordination, eligibility maintenance, billing reconciliation, claims escalation, benefit administration, enrollment, compliance, and broker onboarding.

Our client is seeking an experienced Account Executive to serve as a full-lifecycle partner for brokers and employer groups. From the first quote through every renewal, this role spans carrier navigation, implementation, day-to-day service, and ongoing account management. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, builds strong relationships, and takes ownership from start to finish.

This position comes with a full benefits package and two weeks of paid time off for the first three years of employment.


Key Responsibilities

Broker & Client Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned brokers and employer groups.
  • Provide guidance on carrier plans, benefits administration, eligibility, billing, enrollment, and service matters.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, carriers, and internal teams.

Quoting & Renewals

  • Prepare and manage employee benefits quotes using carrier and agency technology platforms.
  • Coordinate renewal activity, review carrier offers, and support brokers with plan comparisons and market options.
  • Track opportunities, timelines, and deliverables to keep every case on track.

Implementation & Carrier Installation

  • Manage onboarding and implementation of new business from submission through installation.
  • Coordinate carrier submissions, enrollment documentation, and installation requirements.
  • Monitor cases through completion and proactively resolve issues along the way.

Account Management & Operations

  • Handle service requests, claim escalations, eligibility changes, and billing inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate account records and activity tracking.
  • Support internal initiatives that improve broker experience, operational efficiency, and technology adoption.

Qualifications

  • Experience in employee benefits, insurance, carrier operations, brokerage, TPA, or general agency environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Clear, professional communication and a natural ability to build trust with clients and partners.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with quoting, renewals, implementation, or account management is a plus.
  • Proficiency with standard business and benefits technology platforms.
