[Packaging] Account Manager

Compensation: $75K-$110K+ DOE
Location:   Anchorage, AK

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to take full ownership of the Alaska territory, based out of Anchorage. As the sole representative in the state, you will manage and grow an established book of business while identifying and developing new accounts — all with no internal competition. This role is critical to expanding our client’s presence across a dynamic and expansive market.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an inherited book of business across the Alaska territory with a primary focus on account retention and revenue growth.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory to expand the client base.
  • Conduct regular travel throughout the territory, including Anchorage, Juneau, Fairbanks, and surrounding areas.
  • Travel to the Lacey, WA branch office approximately once per month for team meetings and collaboration.
  • Complete an initial one-month onboarding and training period at the Lacey, WA office before assuming full territory responsibilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all customers within the Alaska territory, delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed territory revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably with a large distributor managing high SKU counts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field highly preferred; commensurate experience will also be considered.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory, with 12 or more trips per year to Lacey, WA and other locations as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated career stability and loyalty, with a preference for candidates who have 10–12 years of tenure with a single employer.
