Account Manager
Compensation: $80K-$90K DOE + commission
Location: Tacoma, WA

The Account Manager will oversee accounts within the greater Seattle area, focusing primarily on selling to lumber yards. After a brief onboarding period, you will manage a portfolio of existing clients, with a small portion of your time devoted to new business development. Reporting to the Sales Manager, your role will include:
- Selling and marketing products and services within your assigned account base
- Quoting and negotiating product prices with customers
- Business development
- Providing exceptional customer service
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, creative, focused on relationship building and self-development. A solid understanding of the lumber industry and our client’s product line is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Understanding or knowledge of lumber industry and the company products and services
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency for goal achievement
- Quick decision-making skills
- Strong follow-up skills
- Ability to model company values
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to travel to assigned accounts
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds
