[Building Materials] Outside Sales Representative

Compensation: $100K OTE

Location:   Seattle, WA

Our client offers a competitive compensation structure with a salary plus commission, with an earning potential of $100K+ annually. Position Overview:

Our client is in search of motivated Sales Representatives to join their growing team. This role focuses on business development and relationship management within the construction and design community. The ideal candidate is confident, tech-savvy, and skilled at working with contractors and architects to provide tailored product solutions.

Outside Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and manage relationships with builders, contractors, and architects in the assigned territory.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, cold calls, site visits, and networking.
  • Prepare bids and proposals using industry-standard estimating and bid software.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendor partners to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, pricing, and market trends.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, builder events, and industry meetings.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, maintaining accurate CRM records.

Qualifications


  • 1+ year of experience in the window and door industry or related building materials sales.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales within construction or architectural markets.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills—comfortable speaking with groups and decision-makers.
  • Proficient using computers, bid/tracking software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively without supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel required)
