Our client is a reputable company in the Frozen Seafood Processing & Distribution industry. They are currently seeking a dedicated Production Lead to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of the company’s shipping, receiving, and production floor activities.
Seafood Production Lead Job Responsibilities
- Lead all shipping, receiving, and production floor activities.
- Organize, prioritize, and manage daily orders for processing and shipping.
- Support the development of productivity, reliability, and accuracy standards.
- Forecast staffing needs and assist with scheduling, timecards, and overtime.
- Train, coach, and support team members; participate in hiring and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Assist with inventory control, including check-in/out, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Resolve production issues and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in production, warehouse, or distribution operations.
- Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
- Strong inventory control knowledge and understanding of warehouse best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Comfortable performing physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
