Our client’s company is a leading provider of frozen value-add and frozen commodity seafood products. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain VP/Director to join their team.
Supply Chain Director Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the import of raw materials into the facility
- Manage the export of finished products to domestic and international clients
- Supervise the domestic trucking operations
- Maintain and manage cold storage inventory
- Lead and manage the operational team reporting to you
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a seafood manufacturing company
- Strong knowledge and experience in importing raw products and shipping products by air, truck, and ocean cargo
- Proven experience in managing people, including import/export teams and transportation coordinators
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in the office daily
