Plumbing Project Engineer

Compensation: $80K-$120K DOE

Location:   Seattle, WA

Our client is an industry leader in the design, installation, and service of HVAC, refrigeration, process piping, building automation and plumbing systems. They offer a comprehensive package including a full 401(k) match. They are currently seeking a dedicated Project Engineer in Plumbing who will work closely with the Project Manager and will be responsible for the technical coordination of assigned projects.

Plumbing Project Engineer Job Responsibilities


  • Ensure clear and consistent communication among project team members, clients, architects, and vendors.
  • Contribute to estimating, scheduling, and design within the design-build process.
  • Write proposals, memos, subcontracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external meetings.
  • Perform takeoffs, obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes, compile bid estimates.
  • Manage job progress, interpret technical plans and specifications.
  • Oversee purchasing and delivery processes, and financial management of the project.
  • Handle job closeout processes and commissioning.
  • Collaboratively ensure all issues are communicated and resolved.

Qualifications


  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required. Mechanical and/or related engineering concentration is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated career progression in project engineering and oversight.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience in JDE, IFS, BidTracer, Bluebeam, FastEst, Smartsheet, Box, or similar is preferred.
