[Mechanical Contractors] Senior Service Technician

Compensation: $40-$55/hr DOE

Location:   Tacoma, WA

Our client is an established leader specializing in commercial HVAC solutions, including comprehensive services in HVAC Controls and Special Projects. Renowned for delivering quality-driven solutions and superior customer service, our client’s company takes pride in providing a dynamic and safety-oriented workplace.

Currently, they are seeking an experienced Senior Service Technician to join their dedicated team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex commercial HVAC systems, as well as serving as a knowledgeable resource to clients on-site.

Mechanical Contractor Senior Service Technician Job Responsibilities


  • Service, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems and associated equipment at client locations.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and effectively communicate with clients regarding necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Establish and nurture positive, professional relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and confidence in services provided.

Qualifications


  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience or a relevant combination of formal technical training and experience.
  • Extensive experience servicing boilers, chillers, cooling towers, circulation pumps, VFDs, VRFs, WSHPs, VAVs, control systems, and HVAC units over 100+ tons.
  • EPA Certification and active 06A Electrical License.
  • Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs repeatedly and safely climbing ladders.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate varied schedules, including occasional weekends and on-call duties.
  • Possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings, as well as background checks.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
