ISP / Applications Engineer | $70K-$80K DOE

Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for designing and testing custom circuit board equipment? Our client, a manufacturer of rapid automated printed circuit board testing equipment, is seeking an ISP/Applications Engineer to join their team. If you have a strong background in electrical engineering, a creative mindset, and hands-on experience in design and testing environments, we want to hear from you.

As an ISP/Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the custom design, manufacturing, and sales of circuit board testing equipment and Windows-based test solutions to OEM accounts. Your responsibilities will include creating and designing the test fixture and software, writing the test program and process, and collaborating with the mechanical and wiring departments to build the equipment in-house.

You will be involved in the startup, testing, and debugging of the equipment before delivering it to the customer. Each project is unique, requiring your expertise in oscilloscopes, multimeters, analog and digital design, and problem-solving skills.

ISP / Applications Engineer Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom circuit board testing equipment and Windows-based test solutions.
• Create and design test fixtures and software.
• Write test programs and processes tailored to each customer’s requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical and wiring departments for in-house equipment assembly.
• Perform equipment startup, testing, and debugging.
• Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
