CAD Rebar Fabrication Detailer | $22-$32/hr DOE + OT

Location: Tacoma, WA

Our client, a company specializing in the fabrication of rebar to custom specifications, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CAD Rebar Fabrication Detailer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating shop drawings using AutoCAD, collaborating with fabricators, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of rebar to customers. If you have a strong attention to detail, experience in reading blueprints and takeoffs, and a minimum of 2 years of CAD experience, we encourage you to apply for this position.

CAD Rebar Fabrication Detailer Job Responsibilities


  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, creating shop drawings using AutoCAD for each project.
  • Collaborate with fabricators to ensure accurate fabrication of rebar according to specifications.
  • Review blueprints, takeoffs, and other project documents to gather the necessary information for creating detailed shop drawings.
  • Identify and communicate any changes or modifications to the contract to inform customers.
  • Work with minimal supervision, utilizing critical thinking skills to problem-solve and meet project requirements.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Work indoors, 5 days a week, and be available for 40+ hours of work per week.

Qualifications


  • Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately interpret and read blueprints and takeoffs.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD rebar fabrication detailing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
