Our client, an established and leading manufacturer and supplier, seeks a strong rep to sell top-rated products to distributor customers nationwide. You’ll sell a 4,000-item offering of name brand and private label products to for resale and distribution. Your proven ability to create productive relationships with multiple customer stakeholders will be key as you show your company’s products, pricing, and service to best advantage.

Your experience selling to distributors, navigating multiple levels of buying authorities, and executing a strategic sales plan will put you on track to six-figure earnings. This is NOT a direct sales role, but a manufacturer’s rep role.

You’ll locate and develop new business most of the time, and manage accounts the rest. Acquire new accounts, ensure their products are ready to launch, and equip customers’ reps with what they need to make sales. .  This role is about 70% hunting, 30% account management.

The generous compensation package includes a base of $80K to $90K. Incentives should bring you $125K. A full benefit package includes hospital, medical, dental, retirement plan, car allowance and of course, paid travel.

Job Responsibilities
• Will prospect, set appointments, maintain pipeline and close your own deals.
• Must have career experience selling as a manufacturer to distributors
• Up to 75% National Travel (you’ll always be home on Fridays and Mondays)

Candidates should have:
• Successful sales background to distributor accounts
• Bachelor’s degree preferred **but not required**
• Valid and clean driver’s license required
• Must pass a drug screen and criminal background
