National Sales (Midwest) – Food Service & Distribution Channel $80-$100K Base + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Midwest

Our client was founded 30 years ago, and has branded itself as a National Premium Brand of Mussel, Scallops and Fillets, and their products are sold to Food Service Distribution (Broadliners like SYSCO, FSA and Shamrock), they also also sell directly to Premium Large Chains of Restaurants, Premium Brokers and Retail Grocery.

This role would be selling to Distribution, Broadliners and Restaurants with a Regional presence, they DO have limited SKUS with fine dining, white linen and Michelin Star restaurants, Casinos, Country Clubs, Hospitality Chains and Country Clubs. Careful not to step on the toes of their distribution partners, there are specific strategies used to both acquire business for the company, as well as acquiring direct business, only to hand it off to a distributor to manage the account.

You’d be selling both Commodity and Value Added Seafood products to distributors and direct to restaurants.

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years’ experience and contacts creating new business with Food Service Distribution or relevant Restaurant Accounts (National / Regional brokers, distributors, and chains)
  • 3+ years’ experience managing regional, local and National food service accounts

Compensation 

  • Compensation includes $80-120K Base Salary + Bonus
  • Fully Employer Paid Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K Benefits with expenses paid
