Mechanical Engineer | $70K-$100K DOE

Location: Spokane, WA

Are you a driven and skilled Mechanical Engineer looking to make an impact in the field of Mechanical and Plumbing Design? Our client is seeking a collaborative team player with strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Under the guidance of a Senior Engineer or Project Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from design evaluation to client interaction.

Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities


  • Collaboration: Work closely with a team, following the guidance of Senior Engineers or Project Managers for tasks and smaller projects.
  • Design Evaluation: Responsible for evaluating, recommending, and specifying engineered systems or products, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
  • Technical Tools: Utilize software like Revit and/or AutoCAD for mechanical and plumbing designs.
  • Multi-disciplinary Coordination: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and interior designers.
  • Fieldwork: Perform field observations and report findings. May require exposure to outdoor elements.
  • Calculations: Conduct basic calculations for building mechanical systems.
  • Data Gathering: Assist in data gathering and various engineering tasks for informed design decisions.

Qualifications


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant codes and standards
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage projects independently and willingness to receive guidance
  • Adeptness in client interactions
  • Open to evolving technologies and a continuous pursuit of professional development
