(Truss & Lumber) Outside Sales Representative | $80K-$90K OTE
Our client is a leading provider of building materials, including lumber, trusses, millwork, doors, and more. They are currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Gig Harbor, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a growing company with a strong track record of success.
Outside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business from contractors and builders in the south Puget Sound-area marketplace.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Understand the construction marketplace, including the process by which contractors and builders get the supplies they need.
- Stay current on industry trends, new products, and competitive activity.
- Work with internal teams to ensure that orders are processed correctly and delivered on time.
- Utilize MS Office Suite and Builder Trend-type software to manage sales activities and track progress towards goals.
- Proven sales success in the construction marketplace, with a strong knowledge of lumber and trusses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer needs and relationship-building.
- Self-motivated and driven to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
