Compensation: $115K-$175K OTE

Our client, a top-tier manufacturer of luxury and high-end stair and railing systems, is currently looking for a Territory Manager. This role is a unique opportunity to support the local development of key building professionals and local certified installers. The Territory Manager will play a pivotal part in maintaining and growing relationships with Architects & Designers, Builders and Contractors.
This role will require the successful candidate to split their time between relationship development and driving specification sales through A&D and Builder accounts, managing projects, and establishing partnerships with local installers. You’ll be tasked with supporting the conversion of open deals and identifying new business opportunities, as well as supporting projects from the quoting stages to install completion.
Territory Manager Job Responsibilities
- Regularly engage with potential and existing clients, supporting the conversion of open deals and identifying new business opportunities.
- Identify key players in the market and support their projects from quoting stages to install completion.
- Recruit new install partners to ensure market coverage, qualifying each for technical competency and accurate representation of the brand.
- Stay up-to-date with new products and current installation techniques; organize training sessions with install partners and building professionals.
- Work with install partners on installation-related tasks, including collecting site photos, taking measurements, installing blocking, completing punch list items, and performing warranty and repair work.
- Investigate and diagnose challenges in the field; distribute feedback with the team, supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify and leverage marketing opportunities that are compelling to the market (trade shows, industry events, etc.).
- Record key activities and correspondence in HubSpot (CRM) with accuracy.
- Travel to headquarters periodically for team building, training, and company events.
- Maintain company assets (vehicle, tools, etc.), treating them with care and using them responsibly.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, ensuring team members have the resources and knowledge they need to excel.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices and setting a high standard for team performance and professionalism as it aligns with company policies and expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience selling to A&D, Builders (project sales, spec sales)
- Project management experience in construction strongly preferred
- Luxury / high-end product experience a plus
- Ability to travel within territory and occasionally to Goshen, IN
- Growth & relationship mindset
- Competitive but humble
- This role is not strictly a hunting role. A greater focus on developing relationships with key A&D, Builder community players in the territory, local Installers is required.
