Seafood Sales Executive

Compensation: $80K-$130K DOE

Location:   Port Angeles, WA

Our client is a rapidly growing company specializing in Alaskan seafood and shellfish production, offering high-quality Gold King Crab, Fresh Halibut, Black Cod, Dungeness Crab, and King & Coho Salmon. With a facility located on the water, they provide seamless vessel unloading and top-tier processing capabilities. Their Washington-based value-added frozen sales and production operations, combined with a growing import division, set them apart in the seafood industry.

To support their expansion, they are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive new business growth while managing and strengthening existing client relationships.

Seafood Sales Executive Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the domestic or international seafood market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, and potentially suppliers for trading opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer support.
  • Track and report sales activity, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Travel occasionally to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit processing facilities in Washington and Alaska.

Qualifications


  • 3+ years of seafood sales experience with groundfish, shellfish, or salmon to domestic wholesalers, retail grocery chains, chain restaurants, or international wholesale buyers (preferably those purchasing by the container).
  • Proven ability to prospect through cold calls, warm leads, referrals, and SEAFAX.
  • Experience in private label commodity seafood sales is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows, industry events, and on-site visits to processing facilities in Washington and Alaska.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid, work-from-home environment while staying engaged with the team.
