Project Sales Representative
Compensation: $75K-$90K DOE
Location: Seattle, WA
Our client, a leading provider of preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair services for condominiums, commercial, and institutional buildings, is seeking a Project Sales Representative. This role includes generous benefits such as a monthly car allowance, uncapped sales commissions, company-provided cellphone and laptop, medical insurance, paid vacation, and personal days.
Project Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
- Qualify prospects, make effective sales presentations, and respond to questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner.
- Aggressively manage quotes to close sales.
- Plan and efficiently schedule appointments to ensure maximum productivity.
- Conduct surveys on mechanical systems and understand prospects’ needs and problems.
- Determine repair, modification, and/or replacement requirements to provide prospects with solutions to problems.
- Interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions.
- Provide modification/repair/replacement recommendations and document these for the customer and operations department.
- Estimate cost of proposed repair/modification/replacement and apply company pricing standards to the estimate.
- Understand customer cost to own, operate, and maintain facilities and translate that understanding into proposals and sales.
- Identify prospects in assigned market and promptly follow up on leads and referrals.
- Maintain an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goal is consistently met.
- Promptly address customer concerns to assure resolution of problems and maintain long-term positive relationships.
Qualifications
- Hunter sales mentality, goal-driven and self-motivated.
- Demonstrated record of success in selling services or other intangible business offerings.
- Self-disciplined, results-driven, and accustomed to winning sales awards through consistent high performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a sales CRM program.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Writing and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- 2-3 years’ experience with troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of building codes / standards, and permitting. OSHA training, CPR/First Aid training is a considered an asset.
