[Packaging] Sales Executive | $80K-$125K DOE
Location: San Francisco, CA
Our client is a leading provider of packaging supplies and machinery, offering a comprehensive range of products including stretch film, sealers, stretch wrappers, void fill systems, label equipment and products, strapping equipment and machines, mailer envelopes, boxes, and bags. They are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Executive to join their team in Northern California.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling both packaging machinery and consumables. This is a hunting role, where you will prospect, establish a pipeline of business, close deals, manage client relationships, and provide excellent service. Our client offers an aggressive commission structure of 30% on new accounts, 20% on National Accounts and renewal business, and the flexibility of a 100% home office/remote setup.
Sales Executive Job Responsibilities
- Utilize your experience in selling packaging machinery, automation systems, and consumables to generate new business opportunities.
- Take ownership of the entire sales process, from prospecting to deal closure, while managing and servicing accounts.
- Benefit from an aggressive commission structure, earning 30% on new accounts and 20% on National Accounts and renewal business.
- Leverage your packaging industry experience and contacts to build a strong customer base in the assigned territory.
- Manage a territory covering the region from Fresno to the Oregon border and from the coast to Nevada, with a focus on the Bay Area as the hub of manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, specifically within the packaging distribution industry, selling packaging supplies, machinery, and consumables.
- A hunter mentality, with a track record of successfully bringing on new business and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to work independently and manage accounts, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Reside within the assigned territory, preferably within 20 miles of San Francisco.
