[Packaging] Outside Sales Representative
Compensation: $80K-$100K DOE
Location: Renton, WA
They are seeking an Outside Sales Executive to drive new business growth by selling custom and stock packaging solutions. This role requires a self-motivated professional with a proven ability to generate leads, establish relationships, and close deals with manufacturers and distributors. The position involves face-to-face prospecting, cold calling, and relationship-building to secure long-term clients.
Packaging Outside Sales Job Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new client opportunities through self-sourced leads
- Set appointments, build warm relationships, and capture and retain business
- Sell custom and brown box packaging, as well as consumable packaging goods
- Focus on selling stock packaging products in the first 2-3 years, progressing to managing a book of business within 4-5 years
- Engage in in-person cold calling, door-to-door sales, and consultative selling to convert prospects into clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree required)
- 5+ years of prospecting and outside sales experience
- Experience selling technical, engineered, or customizable products
- Strong consultative selling skills
- Proven ability to generate leads and sell to manufacturers and distributors
- Stable work history (no more than three jobs in the last 10 years)
