[Packaging] Outside Sales Representative | $90K OTE
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Are you a dynamic and results-oriented sales professional with a knack for generating leads and cultivating long-lasting relationships? Our client, a leading provider of packaging, corrugated products, labels, food boxes, packing materials, equipment, PPE, and janitorial supplies, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team. If you have a strong hunting sales background and the ability to prospect and manage accounts, we want to hear from you.
As the Outside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be prospecting for new business and managing accounts as you bring them on board. You will have the flexibility to prospect anywhere in Utah, but being close to Salt Lake City is a significant advantage.
Utilizing your sales skills and experience, you will generate leads, cold call, and even door knock to identify potential customers. Your ability to build and cultivate long-lasting relationships will be crucial to your success in this role.
Outside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Manage and grow accounts as you bring them on board.
- Generate leads through various methods, including cold calling, door knocking, and networking.
- Conduct customer-facing meetings and presentations to showcase the company’s products and services.
- Cultivate long-lasting relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors’ offerings.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong background in hunting sales, with a proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Customer-facing experience and a talent for building and maintaining relationships.
- Familiarity with the packaging, corrugated products, or related industries is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
