(Commercial Fishing) Sales Representative | $55K-$65K

Our client is seeking a skilled Sales Representative with a background in commercial fishing and maritime sales to join their team. If you have an interest or ties to the Pollock and Mid-Water industries, we highly encourage you to apply.

In this role, you will be responsible for selling netting and manufactured products, including bails and land-based applications such as barrier nettings and projects for dams. You will also sell sports netting for applications including baseball, football, and hockey. Approximately 70% of your business will consist of customized products for clients.

You will service global clients, primarily in North and South America and Europe, through phone and email conversations, and you may also have the opportunity to travel to Dutch Harbor for face-to-face meetings with clients when their boats are docked.

Commercial Fishing Sales Representative Job Responsibilities

• Sell netting and manufactured products, including bails and land-based applications such as barrier nettings and projects for dams
• Sell sports netting for applications including baseball, football, and hockey
• Customize products for clients, with approximately 70% of business consisting of customized products
• Service global clients, primarily in North and South America and Europe, through phone and email conversations
• Attend face-to-face meetings with clients during busy times and capture new business
• Assist clients in the Pollock and Mid-Water industries, which have seen reduced business recently

Qualifications

• Background in commercial fishing and maritime sales
• Strong relationships skills
• Interest or ties to the Pollock and Mid-Water industries preferred
• Must live close to Bainbridge Island
