[Building Materials] Outside Sales Representative | $60K-$70K OTE

Location: Seattle, WA

With a rich array of services encompassing installation, hardwood finishing, custom stair runners, and carpet repairs, our client stands as a one-stop-shop for all flooring needs.

As the business expands with a newly opened second location, a self-motivated Outside Sales Representative is sought to uphold the tradition of excellent customer service while driving sales and managing projects independently.

Outside Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Provide showroom coverage, engaging with customers to understand their flooring needs and recommending suitable products and services.
  • Take initiative to order samples, perform accurate measurements, and draft comprehensive estimates for customer review.
  • Manage your projects end-to-end, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion.
  • Prospect new business opportunities through various channels, leveraging provided technology to broaden the customer base.
  • Work independently in the absence of sales support personnel, showcasing a high level of responsibility and time management.
  • Report daily to the Seattle Office for an initial period, fostering a thorough understanding of the sales process and company operations.
  • Possibility of transitioning into a Project Manager role upon demonstrating success and gaining a thorough understanding of the sales process.

Qualifications


  • Early to Mid-career individual with measuring experience and a teachable attitude.
  • Keen interest in learning the flooring sales process and a strong desire to achieve success.
  • Previous exposure to carpet/flooring installation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • B2B sales experience.
  • Proficiency in Team UP, Roll Master, Floors, and notably RLM (Relationship Lead Management) system, with an aptitude for utilizing mobile apps for operational efficiency.
