[Building Materials] Outside Sales Representative | $100K-$200K DOE
Location: Bothell, WA
Our client, a leading provider of high-quality construction products ranging from lumber to windows and doors, as well as professional millwork and installation services, is on the hunt for a driven Outside Sales Representative to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of the construction industry, ready to connect with construction companies and promote our client’s exceptional range of products and services.
Outside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
- Proactively contact construction companies, building relationships through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails.
- Interpret and analyze building plans to provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Initiate cold calling activities to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Play a key role in the implementation and follow-through of our client’s new installation program.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the lumber, construction, or windows and doors industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret building plans.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in implementing effective sales strategies, including cold calling.
- A proactive, “hunter” mentality, always on the lookout for new opportunities.
