[Building Materials] Inside Sales Representative | $20-$23/hr DOE

Location: Shoreline, WA

Our client, a reputable provider of doors and door hardware, is looking for an Inside Sales representative to join their dedicated team.

This role is integral to the company’s mission of delivering exceptional customer service and product knowledge across the board. The ideal candidate will be the go-to person for customers within the store or designated departments, requiring a deep understanding of the product range, pricing, and the ability to provide solutions that meet customer needs effectively.

Building Materials Inside Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Serve customers across the entire store or within specific departments, offering detailed product knowledge and pricing information.
  • Demonstrate prompt and professional telephone etiquette to address customer inquiries and messages swiftly.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the suppliers and their products and services to enhance customer assistance.
  • Adhere to company protocols to ensure consistency and reliability in service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, contributing to a positive customer shopping experience.
  • Accurately schedule orders and manage time efficiently to ensure smooth operations, including production scheduling and glass ordering, adhering to specific guidelines to avoid errors or delays.

Qualifications


  • Proven experience in inside sales, with experience in lumber or related fields being a significant plus.
  • Clean-cut appearance and friendly demeanor, with a positive attitude towards work and customer interaction.
  • Strong aptitude for learning product details and a keen ability to apply this knowledge in customer service.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities, including the ability to communicate effectively and solve problems promptly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results and meeting sales targets.
