[Restoration Construction] Project Manager / Estimator | $65K-$85K + Commission

Our client’s company specializes in full-service restoration repair, reconstruction, remediation, and cleaning. They are in the business of bringing spaces back to life after flooding, fire, natural disasters, and other unexpected situations. They are expanding their team in their new Portland office and are actively seeking a dedicated Project Manager/Estimator.

If you have construction, supervisory, and remediation/estimating experience, this opportunity comes with an attractive base salary and a commission structure that offers significant earning potential.

Project Manager / Estimator Job Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing jobs from inception to completion, using construction, supervisory, and remediation/estimating skills.
• Overseeing schedules and personnel, and preparing work orders.
• Performing inspections before, during, and after the job regarding site needs, progress, and materials.
• Communicating effectively with all involved parties, including insurance reps, customers, contractors, suppliers, and others.
• Testing samples for mold, asbestos, and lead, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Reviewing and ensuring everything is in compliance with regulations.
• Utilizing MS Office Suite and Xactimate for various job-related tasks.
• Engaging in proactive customer service and maintaining a commitment to quality work.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, project management, and a thorough understanding of safety and compliance regulations.
• Initiative, time and budget management skills, team spirit, and respect.
• Familiarity or willingness to undertake IICRC training.
• Excellent knowledge of job costing, budgeting, and takeoffs.
• Any related certifications such as asbestos, OSHA 10, etc.
• Strong organizational background and customer service abilities.
• Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating success and commitment.
