Commercial Insurance Producer
Compensation: $72K-$150K DOE

Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage with a rich history, specializes in personal, employee benefits, and commercial lines of insurance. A nationally recognized firm, they offer extensive resources, carrier relationships, and expertise to support complex insurance and benefits solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Producer to drive new business growth and expand their market presence.
Commercial Insurance Producer Job Responsibilities
- Generate new prospects through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Leverage existing centers of influence to build strong client relationships.
- Conduct policy reviews, establish credibility, and differentiate offerings from competitors.
- Market quotes from carriers and close deals.
- Maintain a book of business or, if restarting, present a solid business plan with target markets and relationships.
- Meet annual revenue goals of $100K–$150K in business commissions.
- Focus on sales—administrative support handles processing of applications and new business placement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Producer with an independent agency.
- Proven success in previous or current roles—validated performance required.
- Stable job history.
- Strong sales and prospecting skills, with a hunter mentality.
- Active WA & OR Property & Casualty Licenses.
