Service Technician | $25-$30/hr DOE

We are currently looking for a dedicated Service Technician – Mechanic to join their team. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of machine repair and maintenance that their clients have come to expect.

Service Technician Job Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, reassemble, and test pumps to ensure optimal functionality
• Clean and inspect rotating equipment for quality assurance
• Estimate repair costs and assemble new equipment as needed
• Report on job status and any concerns related to quality of work
• Travel to customer sites for on-location servicing when required
• Mentor junior mechanics to foster skill development and adherence to company standards
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of safety gear like glasses and shoes
• May require standing or walking for extended periods and working in varied temperatures

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of production or shop experience
• 1-2 years of experience as a mechanic or millwright specializing in pumps
• Associates degree or relevant certification is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Safety gear is mandatory for this role
• Willingness to work overtime as needed based on workload
