Outside Sales Representative

Compensation: $85K-$100K DOE

Location:   Portland, OR

Our client’s company is a leading manufacturer specializing in customized air compressors, vacuum systems, blowers, and controls. They prioritize employee well-being, foster a culture of communication, honesty, and integrity, and have a strong industry reputation.

In addition to these values, they offer benefits such as medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and a 15% profit-sharing program that is invested in a fund. Currently, they are seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Outside Sales in the Vancouver/Portland area.

Outside Sales Job Responsibilities


• Cover the prime northwest territory from Vancouver to Washougal/Camas and North Portland, engaging in sales activities.
• Sell a range of products including rotational, reciprocating, and centrifugal pumps, air compressors, blowers, vacuum systems, dryers, electronic controls, x-line mag starters, variable speed drives, and BACnet controls to various industrial accounts and customers.
• Target customers from diverse industries such as auto shops, Boeing, Oculus, concrete, food, and other businesses that utilize air in their operations.
• Utilize a consultative and solutions-focused sales approach to meet customer needs effectively.

Qualifications


• Possess a solution-oriented mindset with experience in an industrial/engineering setting.
• Ideally hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with a background in sales.
• Demonstrate discipline, structure, internal motivation, and strong leadership understanding.
• Preference for candidates with a military background and proficiency in MS Office.
