Millwright / Industrial Mechanic | $25-$40+/hr DOE

Location: Denver, CO

An innovative company specializing in custom metal fabrication, car parking lifts, crane services, industrial mechanical services, and material handling equipment is seeking a proficient Millwright / Industrial Mechanic for their Denver branch.

This role is integral to the company’s operations, involving heavy industrial assembly, service, and maintenance for equipment essential to large-scale lifting and moving. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, working from home and on-site to handle the assembly, maintenance, and service of automated car park systems as part of a skilled team.

Industrial Mechanic Job Responsibilities


  • Perform on-site assembly of heavy industrial systems, primarily automated car park installations.
  • Participate in a sequence of tasks including unloading equipment, marking layout, erecting steel frames, and assembling side beams and platforms.
  • Install control points, PLC housing, switches, and commission the systems post-electrical work.
  • Each project will be approximately three months in duration, with a robust pipeline of projects booked through 2025.
  • Conduct service and maintenance calls post-installation, ensuring the optimal functioning of equipment.
  • Service calls are to be completed efficiently, with compensation including overtime and mileage.

Qualifications


  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a mandatory drug test.
  • Proficient in mechanical fabrication; additional skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, plumbing, or crane operation are advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for accurate work order management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
