Manufacturing Engineer | $70K-$85K

Location: Portland, OR


Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in optimizing production lines and driving continuous improvement? Do you have a BS in an engineering-related field and at least 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing or Industrial Engineer? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

In this role, you will work closely with the engineering team as well as production and purchasing to ensure peak efficiency in all areas. Your project management experience and excellent communication skills will be key in helping to maintain and optimize production flow lines, train and develop staff, and drive continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for ensuring safety and environmental compliance, collaborating with other departments to reduce overhead and improve quality, and helping to transition operations to Lean processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organized and able to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment. You should also have a strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, such as 6S, Kaizen, and VSM, as well as experience with ERP systems. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and inspirational skills will also be crucial in this role, as you will be leading departments’ transitions.
