[Machinery] Outside Sales Representative | $60K + Commission
Location: Seattle, WA
Our client’s company is at the forefront of material handling solutions, specializing in forklifts and industrial vehicles. They are now looking to expand their sales team with an experienced Outside Sales Representative. This position covers a territory that spans from King County up to the Canadian Border, including Island Counties.
If you have a strong background in heavy machinery sales, reside within the territory, and are seeking an exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturer, this role is for you.
Outside Sales Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for new and used equipment sales in the assigned territory.
- Representing 2-3 manufacturers with a focus on maintaining and growing relationships.
- Identifying and engaging with potential clients within the region.
- Understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Negotiating terms, prices, and closing deals.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Regular reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and market trends.
- Complying with all company policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Must have prior experience in heavy machinery sales, particularly in the field of material handling, forklifts, and industrial vehicles.
- Must reside within the designated territory (King County up to the Canadian Border, including Island Counties).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of the local market, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
