Industrial Store Manager

Compensation: $60K-$80K DOE

Location:   Medford, OR

Our client is a leading supplier of industrial fasteners, industrial supplies, and construction and building materials in the Pacific Northwest. They are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of their store. This role carries a special focus on the integration and efficiency improvement of their newly acquired Medford branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational expertise and experience in managing the behind-the-scenes aspects of a fast-paced wholesale/retail environment.

Industrial Store Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Oversee and streamline all daily store operations, ensuring efficiency in workflows and processes.
  • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage store maintenance, equipment, and facility needs to ensure a well-functioning workspace.
  • Oversee inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy, and optimize storage and warehouse organization for maximum efficiency.
  • Supervise, train and develop store staff, ensuring they follow operational procedures and maintain productivity.
  • Handle administrative duties, including cash handling, financial transactions, and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and handle store documentation.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to improve store performance.

Qualifications


  • Proven experience in store, warehouse, or operations management, preferably in industrial supplies, hardware, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Experience in inventory control, purchasing, and logistics.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and inventory/POS systems.
  • Ability to lift and move products as needed in a warehouse/retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and manage store KPIs and budget.
  • Familiarity with lean operations or continuous improvement frameworks.
