Industrial Outside Sales Representative
Compensation: $150K OTE
Location: Boise, ID
Our client is a rapidly expanding, family-operated business specializing in the supply of industrial products such as pipes, valves, fittings, pumps, and sanitary items. They have an extensive project portfolio related to significant developments in Idaho, including a $17B semiconductor facility, a government-funded mining project, and a large battery plant in Southern Idaho.
They are currently on the lookout for a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to manage a territory spanning the Boise Valley and beyond. If you’re a motivated “hunter” who thrives in a performance-driven environment and is passionate about building strong relationships with mechanical contractors, this is the role for you.
Outside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a customer list of 300–500+ mechanical contractors across a broad territory.
- Pursue and win new accounts within the booming construction, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
- Serve as a trusted partner to customers by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Drive year-over-year sales growth of 8–15%.
- Meet five targeted performance metrics per quarter, including sales goals, reporting accuracy, and alignment with company core values.
- Take ownership of accounts, lead projects, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a “hunter” in a sales environment.
- Experience within a distributor/manufacturer firm is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
