Industrial Inside Sales Representative

Compensation: $24-$30/hr DOE

Location:   Portland, OR

In this critical role, you will be the central hub of sales and operations, handling order processing, quoting, and customer communication. You will work closely with distributors, OEMs, and various internal teams—including sales, warehouse, and logistics—to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Utilizing the ERP system, you will manage pricing, special orders, and tracking while providing top-tier service. This position is an excellent starting point for a long-term career, with opportunities for advancement into outside sales or operations management.

Inside Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare quotes and manage pricing, special orders, and documentation
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, sales representatives, and warehouse teams
  • Utilize the ERP system to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment
  • Track shipments and coordinate logistics to meet customer expectations
  • Provide product and technical support as needed
  • Maintain organized records and handle administrative tasks related to sales
  • Collaborate with the team in a fast-paced, small-business-style environment
  • Identify opportunities for growth and advancement within the company

Qualifications


  • Customer service experience or strong aptitude for sales and support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical product details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage ERP systems
  • Strong reasoning skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and differentiate alpha and alphanumeric listings
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and climbing ladders as needed
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to grow within the company
