In this role, you will build and maintain long-term client relationships, working closely with seasoned engineers to deliver customized solutions that meet the dynamic needs of the industrial controls industry. Controls Outside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on their industrial control and automation needs.
- Identify new business opportunities and target untapped accounts, taking ownership of the sales process and driving growth.
- Collaborate with inside sales and engineering teams to create tailored solutions for heavy commercial and building integration projects.
- Understand and effectively communicate the value of the company’s solutions, emphasizing quality and innovation.
- Take a strategic, consultative approach to sales without heavy reliance on CRM systems, leveraging relationship-building skills to drive results.
- Represent the company professionally, delivering outstanding customer service and acting as a trusted partner for clients.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, preferably in industrial electrical solutions or a related field.
