[Electrical Supplies] Outside Sales Representative | $150K+ OTE

Location: Seattle, WA

Our client’s company, a well-established and resilient leader in the electrical components and equipment industry, has been a trusted provider of essential tools, supplies, and equipment for decades. Specializing in serving the electrical power industry, the company continues to thrive through economic shifts and challenges, providing stability and growth opportunities for its team. They are currently seeking an experienced and independent Manufacturers’ Representative to manage a thriving territory in the western Washington/Seattle/I-5 corridor.

As a Manufacturers’ Representative, you will leverage your independent sales experience to maintain and grow relationships with established customers across the region. Working from your home office, preferably in the Seattle area, you will represent top-tier manufacturers of critical grid solutions, transformers, lighting, switches, meters, voltage regulators, and more. This role focuses exclusively on servicing existing, stable accounts, with no cold calling required.

The position offers a generous base salary plus commission, with an OTE of at least $150K, along with comprehensive benefits, including an HSA, 401(k), car/gas/maintenance allowance, and technology support.

Outside Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Manage and grow a territory of established industry customers within the western Washington/Seattle/I-5 corridor.
  • Represent a portfolio of top manufacturers of electrical components and equipment.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts, ensuring their needs for tools, supplies, equipment, and components are met.
  • Work independently from a home office, with regular travel to customer locations within the territory.
  • Provide knowledgeable sales support and solutions tailored to the electrical power industry.

Qualifications


  • Experience in the electric utility sector (sales, purchasing, project management, or operations).
  • Proven sales experience or a strong aptitude for sales.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and capable of working independently.
  • Stable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Residency within the territory, with a preference for candidates close to the Seattle area.
