District Manager | $100K-$110K OTE
Location: Dallas, TX
Our client is seeking a highly motivated District Manager to join their team specializing in the design and installation of mobile automation and capital equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, sales, marketing, or business and experience selling to industrial markets, OEMs, ports, industrial warehouses, distributors, mining, or aviation.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales in the territory of Texas and Oklahoma. This will involve self-generating leads and cultivating relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as managing account activities and keeping literature up to date. You will also be expected to prepare annual sales budgets and forecasts and attend trade shows.
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal, written, and project management skills, as well as a strong focus on customer service and the ability to sell the design and custom installation of mobile automation and capital equipment, as well as the service maintenance that separates us from the competition.
Expectations for this role include 60% travel throughout the territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and provide estimates and quotes.

District Manager Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in engineering, sales, marketing, or business (preferred)
- Experience selling to industrial markets, OEMs, ports, industrial warehouses, distributors, mining, or aviation
- Experience selling capital equipment, technical products, material handling equipment, equipment sales, or industrial automation
- Excellent verbal, written, and project management skills
- Strong focus on customer service
- Lives in the Greater Dallas, TX area
