CNC Programmer | $30-$44/hr DOE

Location: Everett, WA

A leading manufacturer specializing in screw, nut, bolt production, and custom fabricated metal products with a focus on jobbing and repair is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer. The company is recognized for its expertise in cellular manufacturing and the multi-axis turning, Swiss turning, and milling of close tolerance and complex items for the avionics, aerospace hydraulic, and medical industries.

This role is crucial for someone with a deep understanding of the ESPRIT cam system and experience in programming a variety of CNC machines.

CNC Programmer Job Responsibilities


  • Utilize the ESPRIT cam system to program CNC machinery, including vertical mills, horizontal cells, 5 axis mills, and mill-turn machines.
  • Develop 3D models and design custom tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, applying knowledge of true positioning and conventional tolerances.
  • Collaborate with machinists during the prove-out process of new programs and provide troubleshooting support.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing programming tasks efficiently.
  • Be available to work overtime as needed to support business requirements and project deadlines.

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer, specifically working with the ESPRIT cam system.
  • Proficient in programming vertical mills, horizontal cells, 5 axis mills, and mill-turn machines.
  • Proven ability to create accurate 3D models and design tooling and fixtures.
  • Strong interpretive skills for understanding complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Resides in close proximity to the office for convenient commute and availability.
