Branch Manager

Compensation: $105K-$135K OTE

Location:   Portland, OR

Our client’s company is a leading manufacturer of customized air compressors, vacuum systems, blowers, and controls. They prioritize employee well-being, foster a culture of communication, honesty, and integrity, and have a strong industry reputation.

In addition to these values, they offer benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, and a 15% profit-sharing program invested in a fund. Currently, they are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Branch Manager at their flagship Portland headquarters.

Branch Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Manage all sales and operations for the Portland branch, overseeing a team of 54 individuals including sales and service managers, shop manager, in- and outside sales, technicians, administrative staff, audit personnel, and office manager.
  • Take charge of full profit and loss responsibilities, business and financial planning, sales strategies, inventory management, vendor relationships, account management, pricing and margins, strategic growth initiatives, team development, and training programs.

Qualifications


  • Demonstrated success in operations management and/or sales leadership within the industrial marketplace.
  • Possess a disciplined and structured approach, with strong internal motivation and a deep understanding of effective leadership practices.
  • Preference for candidates with a background in the military and direct product knowledge, especially in LEAN methodologies.
  • A degree or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in MS Office.
